The karaoke is now done and we have begun encoding the episodes, so expect a release later today or early tomorrow.

I will also mention a  few other things in this post.

• We are looking for an uploader or two since we recently lost our old uploader due to various reasons. (To do this job, you must have great upload speeds) The job simply consists of uploading the episode to a torrents tracker and seeding it. The job really requires no experience, if you meet the requirements, either get on our irc channel or email me.
• As some might know, there have been some changes over at baka-wolf.com, but these will not affect us much.
• Also, thanks to Silence who has now left. He helped us through many trials and we owe him our gratitude.
• On another note, Comments now are enabled!

Expect a few new releases very soon. These releases will also include….karaoke!! Look forward to them and sorry for the wait.

Well, our editor is having some technical problems, for now we handed it to our backup editor, Bowen. We will still hopefully release this within a few days. Also, for those wondering, the TL for the OP and ED are being worked on by Ariane. I would not expect to see them in World Destruction 03  though.

Yeah, so I’m sorry about that, I fixed my problems and did the edit.  The script is ready, but unfortunately our encoder’s on vacation until the 4th.  So, unless we find someone else to encode, you’ll have to wait. >_> Again, we apologize. XD

Howdy - the name’s Ariane, and I’m what one would call a “new recruit” here at Mayu-Subs. Personally, I’m happy to be here; the Mayu-Subs crew are a brill-and-hilarious bunch - makes *working* (cough) with them a joy!

Anywhos, I’m posting to say that as the “ad-hoc” webdesigner of Mayu-Subs, I’ll be working on a new site theme which will go up here after it gets the thumbs up. During the design + coding process, there should be no effect on how you view the site - I’ll personally see to it that nothing happens up until the time the new theme does get published.

However, in the event there are some minor glitches, you know what’s going on exactly. They’ll only be temporary and non-serious, though; so worry not!

Keep your eyes peeled for the new theme then. Well, I’m out!

Episode 2 of World Destruction has been released. Things are going a bit more smoothly now.

Some extra notes: We do intend to release a v2 of episode one to insert karaoke and fix minor editing and TL errors. We also intend to have much improved karaoke in the near future for the WD project, so look forward to that as well. The new karaoke should be included in episode 3, along with proper translations.

Edit: Apologies on the delay for the .torrent release. I had a lapse in judgment when I chose to use NyaaTorrents as a tracker. It was mostly due to AniRena being retarded and their inability to send a bloody email, but in the end, I used my personal AniRena account and got the torrent out. From now on, [Mayu-Subs] will be using AniRena as its primary tracker, at least until BakaWolf revives its private tracker. - Silence.

Hey,

After random delays for even more random issues (please understand this is the groups first project and many of the staff members have little to no experience, and have dealt with missing staff and lack of overall experienced leadership…), things are looking better.

The group overall has decided the best thing to do is to junk the karaoke for now, and will be issuing a Episode 01v2 later on featuring a pro karaoke that will be finished sometime in the coming week by an experienced karaoke subber and any possible errors that have passed through editing/QCshould be resolved in the v2 if there are any. The new karaoke will be featured from episode 02 and onward, so it shouldn’t be that big of an issue.

The group is making some good progress now that some experienced fansubbers are offering advice and leadership. I’d also like to take this time to give the group praise for not giving up and fighting through to get a release out despite all of the issues that have come up against them and I look forward to seeing the final product released in the near future.
